IFB # 17-003 – Roadway Improvements On Various City Roads – CLOSED

The City of Sugar Hill will accept sealed bids from qualified Contractors for furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to complete the ROADWAY IMPROVEMENTS CONTRACT # 17-003. The work includes milling, temporary traffic control, traffic marking, asphalt paving, manhole adjustments and associated tasks. Bids will be received at the City of Sugar Hill at City Hall, 5039 W. Broad Street, Sugar Hill, Georgia 30518 (phone: 770-945-6716) until 4:00 PM, Wednesday, March 8, 2017, at which time the bids will be opened and read aloud. No bid may be modified, withdrawn, or canceled for a period of 60 days after time designated for receipt of Bids or until notified by Owner, whichever is sooner. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive irregularities, technicalities, and informalities.

Bidding documents may be viewed at the office of the Assistant City Manager, 5039 W. Broad Street, Sugar Hill, Georgia 30518 (phone: 770-945-6716). Bid packages may be purchased and are $20 per CD or $30 per hardcopy. Payment must be received prior to delivery. Questions of a technical nature should be submitted in writing to Troy Besseche, P.E., Assistant City Manager at 5039 W. Addendum 1 provides answers to questions generated since the project was announced and offers revisions to the bid quantities and items on the bid form. Prospective bidders are encouraged to review the addendum, familiarize themselves with the original bid documents and clarifications to the scope and extent of the project. Questions will be accepted through the close of business on Wednesday, March 1. The bids are due March 8 at 4PM at Sugar Hill City Hall with the public bid opening in the History Museum Room
