Internship Program

Internship Program at the City of Sugar Hill

Thank you for your interest in an internship with the City of Sugar Hill! We aim to provide diverse work experience that complements academic experience. We offer school year internships and summer internships. The school year internships run August – December and January – May and summer internships run May – August, with some variance due to school schedules. While the internships are unpaid, a great amount of experience is gained and intern supervisors have often been great resources for recommendation in the future. One of the unique things about the Sugar Hill internship program is that we often like to hire “who we know.” There are currently a small handful of full-time employees that were once interns in one of our departments.

There are several different areas that students can specialize in, including but not limited to:

  • Marketing
  • Entrepreneurship
