The Gwinnett Coalition for Health & Human Services, in partnership with Volunteer Gwinnett, will celebrate the annual Great Days of Service on October 25th and 26th, 2019.
Gwinnett Great Days of Service mobilizes thousands of individuals, corporations, churches, schools, civic organizations, and communities in meaningful volunteer service to address some of Gwinnett County’s most critical needs.
Join us at our very own Sugar Hill volunteer project in our historic cemetery followed by a lunch provided for all volunteers by the Sugar Hill Historic Preservation Society.
Location: Sugar Hill History Cemetery (West Broad Street, Sugar Hill, GA across from City Hall)
Date: Saturday, October 26th, 2019
Time: 9 am-1 pm
Project: Family plot restoration (weeding, adding pea gravel, repair to plot walls); Grave marker cleaning
Who: Adults and children with adult supervision
What: Community volunteer day followed by lunch
What to Bring:
- work gloves (if you have them)
- extra wheelbarrows (if you have them)
- extra rakes (if you have them)
- extra shovels (if you have them)
