  • Splash Park Maintenance

-County Water Meter issues have been addressed and repaired at the Splash Park this week, causing temporary closures on Tuesday and Thursday.

  • Chattahoochee River District Public Virtual Input Follow-Up Meeting

- The city owns nearly 260 acres bounded by Highway 20 to the south, Suwanee Dam Road to the east, Richland Creek to the north, and the Chattahoochee River Park to the West including our award-winning golf course.  The purpose of the meeting is to obtain input toward a concept plan for appropriate future uses of these properties. 

-The city will present the results of the public input from the meeting on July 14th and comment period that concluded on August 2nd.

  • Sugar Hill Greenway Project Open House #2

-The Sugar Hill Greenway Project Virtual Open House follow-up meeting will take place on September 9th. Details to come.

  • Economic Recovery Task Force Preliminary Recommendations

-Preliminary recommendations from the Economic Recovery Task Force were presented at Monday's Council meeting. The full report and presentation slides are attached. 

  • Downtown Duck Update

-Due to duck injuries and nesting we have postponed the duck names reveal to Wednesday, August 19th. We will no longer be doing a live streamed event, but be announcing via a social media video. We will provide a more detailed report on “The Return of Ducks” next week. It has been quite the saga.
