Summer Downtown Clean-Up
-The Summer Downtown Clean-Up event will be held on Sunday, June 21st from 1:00 pm until 2:30 pm. Participants will meet in front of City Hall. Materials including gloves and garbage bags will be provided. Details can be found here.
Utility Payments Convenience Fee
-The convenience fee that has been waived for online and phone bill payments since March 14th will be reinstated on Sunday, June 21st. Payments received prior to Sunday, June 21st at 8:00 pm will have their convenience fee credited back to their accounts. Customers will be notified of this change via social media and an insert in their next gas bill as well as the city webpage.
Downtown Plaza Rental
-Tomorrow, Saturday, June 6th, 2020 The Bowl is being rented for a town hall discussion with state officials, police officers, religious leaders and neighbors. Public safety will be present to ensure a quiet and peaceful presence.
20 Days of Summer Fun with Sugar Hill
-The Sugar Hill events department kicked off their June campaign, 20 Days of Summer Fun with Sugar Hill on Monday, June 1st. Instructions are provided for daily activities through the month of June. i9 sports has partnered with the city to provided weekly prizes as well as a grand prize for participants throughout June.

City Council Meeting
-The June City Council meeting will be held virtually at 7:30 pm on Monday, June 8th. A web packet, agenda, and link to the meeting will be sent by Ned prior to the meeting.
Public Construction Update
A bidders conference was held for the Sugar Hill Greenway project on Tuesday, June 2nd. Bids for this project are currently being accepted until June 16th at 2:00 pm. Details can be found here and will be presented at the upcoming council meeting.
A private construction update will be provided next week as well as an update on our city owned construction projects.
