Notes and Quotes-5/22/2020

  • Memorial Day Ceremony

-Our Annual Memorial Day Ceremony will take place this coming Monday, May 25th at 11:00 am at the new Veterans Memorial Plaza in downtown Sugar Hill. This will allow us to honor the memory of those who have served as well as open the new Veterans Memorial. Arrangements have been made to conduct the ceremony “in-person” with proper social distancing. But given the circumstances surrounding COVID-19,  we are also planning to air this as a virtual Facebook Live event for those who cannot attend or those that are encouraged to shelter in place.

-We plan on releasing information for ordering commemorative bricks for placement in the Veterans Memorial Plaza. Details to come.
