Governor Extends Public Health State of Emergency and Issues New Guidance Order
-Governor Kemp yesterday extended his Public Health State of Emergency until 11:59PM on July 12, 2020. The existing Shelter in Place order remains in effect until June 12, 2020. His new order allows for a number of previously prohibited activities to open or operate, including bars (with strict guidelines) as well as professional and amateur sports. Public gatherings are limited to no more than 25 persons when social distancing cannot be assured.  Gatherings of 25 or more are allowed as long as each attendee in a “single location” can be at least 6-feet away from another person.  Also, the order encourages people to wear masks when outside except to eat, drink or exercise.  Live concert/event venues remain prohibited from operating until at least after the end of the latest order - June 15th.  The full extended emergency declaration and new executive order can be found online.

Lanier HS Virtual AP Art Show
