If you’re looking for a clean and comfortable place to work out, check out the E Center Gym at the City of Sugar Hill. The fitness center located at 5009 W. Broad Street in Downtown Sugar Hill boasts basketball courts, an indoor six-layered padded walking and running track, treadmills, bikes, ellipticals, row machines, free weights, and a multi-use strength gym. It’s also known for its variety of classes tailored for every age, workout preference and fitness level!
“We’re all a big family here,” says Recreation Manager, Darcee Bloom. “We take care of each other and the people who come through our doors. It’s important that we get to know them and make them feel welcome.”
Bloom, who has worked with the City of Sugar Hill for 15 years explains, “anybody can take classes here.” While residents of the City of Sugar Hill can join the facility for free, the gym is open to everyone.
Non-residents pay a yearly fee for membership. Classes, all taught by certified professionals, are available for everyone and priced individually. People come from all over Gwinnett County to use the new and ultra-modern gym.
Bloom adds, “You don’t have to belong to a private health club or hire a personal trainer to get a good workout in a clean and modern facility.” Some of the classes currently being offered are:
