After much careful deliberation the management of The Bowl @ Sugar Hill has made the very difficult decision to cancel the Spinners concert on Saturday (August 4, 2018). Due to the amount of precipitation this week and with more rain scheduled to come, the functionality of The Bowl is compromised. Since The Bowl is an outdoor amphitheater and is located near a stormwater retention pond, some areas are flooded and could potentially stay flooded or become worse. With pending potential storms, there is no predicable or reliable window of opportunity for the production team to set up equipment.

The Bowl @ Sugar Hill’s first priority is ensuring that concert-goers have a safe and enjoyable experience at our amphitheater. We feel that this decision is best not only for The Spinners, but for our valued patrons.

As a result of this cancellation, we would like to offer you one of two options. These options are valid only on tickets purchased prior to August 2, 2018 at 6:00 PM.

Option 1: Receive a full refund for the face value and applicable fees of the tickets you purchased

Option 2: Trade your Spinners tickets for Michael Bolton or Don Felder tickets at no additional cost. (If no tables are available, 4 seats will be exchanged).

Please contact support@xorbiatickets.com with your selection.

Most often thought of as a Motown recording act, the classic group sound of legendary R&B recording artists, The Spinners, has never lost its universal appeal. Throughout the years they have sold millions of records and topped both the Pop and R&B charts with smash hits like “I’ll Be Around” and “Then Came You”. Today, original member Henry Fambrough is joined onstage by lead singer Charlton Washington, high tenor Marvin Taylor, tenor Ronnie Moss, and bass singer Jessie Peck’ a soul-infused 5-piece band, led by Keith Furguson, backs them up.

The Spinners have six Grammy nominations and have performed twice during the awards ceremony. Inducted into the Vocal Group Hall of Fame in 1999, they have also been awarded the Rhythm and Blues Foundation Awards for their contribution to the genre. The group has performed for presidents, received a star on the Hollywood “Walk of Fame”, and has appeared in numerous network and cable specials paying tribute to the 70s’s. Today, this legendary R&B group maintains an active touring schedule, performing for fans of all ages in sold out houses around the world.
