Mayor and City Council
The City of Sugar Hill is governed by a council-manager form of government where the City Council determines the city policies, and the City Manager is then responsible for city operations and execution of the set policies. The City Council consists of a Mayor and five Council Members. All Council Members are elected at-large for four year terms.

Sugar Hill City Council Meetings
City Council Work Sessions are held on the 1st Monday of every month at 7:00 pm in the City Hall Community Room.
City Council Meetings are held on the 2nd Monday of every month at 7:30 pm in the City Hall Council Chamber.
Minutes from the meetings will be posted once they're approved by the Mayor and Council. (Approximately 30 to 60 days after the meeting.)
