CALL FOR MUNICIPAL ELECTION & NOTICE OF QUALIFYING
Notice is hereby given that an Election will be held in the City of Sugar Hill, Georgia, on Tuesday, November 5, 2019, from 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m., at the Sugar Hill Community Center, 1166 Church Street, Sugar Hill, Georgia. The election is to fill the office of City Council seat Post #1 currently held by Brandon Hembree, City Council seat Post #2 currently held by Marc Cohen, and City Council seat Post #3 currently held by Susie Walker. The Council Posts serve the citizens at large but the candidate must declare which post they are running for upon qualification. Candidates must pay a Qualifying fee at the time of qualification which is $108.00 for City Council. Qualifying will begin on Monday, August 19, 2019, at 8:30 a.m. and run until Wednesday, August 21, 2019, at 4:30 p.m. Qualifying will be held at City Hall, 5039 West Broad, Sugar Hill, Georgia, in the office of the City Clerk Jane Whittington, between the hours of 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. daily. You must reside within the City limits of Sugar Hill to vote in this election, and all such electors are encouraged to participate. The last day to register to vote in this election is October 7, 2019. Registration forms are available in the office of the City Clerk at City Hall, the Gwinnett County Elections Office and the website of the Georgia Secretary of State.

Aviso se da que una elección se llevará a cabo en la ciudad de Sugar Hill, Georgia, el martes, 5 de noviembre de 2019, desde las 7:00 a.m. hasta las 7:00 p.m., en el Centro Comunitario de Sugar Hill, en la calle 1166 Church Street, Sugar Hill, Georgia.
