- PUBLIC HEARING RZ-16-003 Licet Naranjo is requesting to rezone 2 acres from LM to HM-1 for equipment storage and future contractor’s office.
Planner Susan Puri went over the staff recommendation for this project. The Public Hearing was opened. Applicant Licet Naranjo applicant was present. There were no other public comments. The Public Hearing was closed. Commission Member Julie Adams made a recommendation to approve changing the conditions as recommended by staff. Commission Member Jeremy White made the second. Approved 3-0.
- PUBLIC HEARING RZ-16-004 Solomon Development Services is requesting to rezone 7.147 from RM to BG for senior living duplex cottages.
Planner Susan Puri went over staff recommendation for approval. The Public Hearing was opened. No one was present for the applicant. Citizen Rosemary Diffley was in opposition, she indicated her property was adjacent to this project, and she would like a 75’ buffer to remain behind the homes along Whitehead Road. The Public Hearing was closed. Commission Member Julie Adams made a motion to approve this rezoning as recommended by staff. Commission Member Jeremy White made the second. Approved 3-0.

Commission Member Jeremy White made a motion to table this request for Zoning Ordinance Amendment Article 6 and Article 9 until staff has time to revise.
