City of Sugar Hill Closures and Service Updates
- City Offices and Services: Closed Friday, Jan. 10. Resuming Monday, Jan. 13.
- Parks and Recreation Facilities: Closed until Sunday, Jan. 12. (check the golf club’s website for opening and tee times)
- Waste Management and Recycling Pickup: Suspended Friday, Jan. 10. Collection rescheduled for Monday, Jan. 13.
Residents are advised to be cautious of black ice, fallen trees, and other hazards and ONLY drive if absolutely necessary. For non-emergencies, please contact the Sugar Hill Marshal’s Office:

Due to hazardous conditions from the incoming winter weather, all Sugar Hill city offices and services will be closed on Friday, January 10, and will resume on Monday, January 13. Parks and facilities, including the E Center, Sugar Hill Golf Course, Gary Pirkle Park, Sugar Hill Greenway, Gold Mine Park, and Ridge Lake Park, are also closed until Sunday, January 12. The city’s Public Works and Parks & Recreation Departments are adding proactive safety measures to keep our roadways as safe and accessible as possible during this winter weather.
Waste Management has suspended waste and recycling pickup for Friday, January 10. Services will be provided on Monday, January 13. Residents are asked to leave carts out on the scheduled collection day.
