Tap & Ballet with Heather Griffith
This class combines 20 minutes of tap and 25 minutes of ballet. Students learn the fundamentals of ballet while developing coordination, movement, and tap technique through fun, age-appropriate activities and music. The Creative Movement and Dance Winter Performance will be held December 14 at no additional cost to participants.
 
Bollywood Dance with Rimy Sandeep
Rimy Sandeep is a dance instructor and choreographer with more than 30 years of dance experience and more than 15 years of teaching and choreography experience. She is formally trained in Bharatanatyam and Indian Folk Dance and creates fun, beginner-friendly classes that encourage confidence, creativity, and self-expression.
  • Ladies Bollywood Dance
    This beginner-friendly class combines energetic choreography with fitness, rhythm and self-expression. Participants will build confidence, coordination and performance skills while enjoying the vibrant energy of Bollywood dance. No prior dance experience is required.
  • Kids Bollywood Dance | Ages 6-12
    This beginner-friendly class introduces children to energetic choreography, rhythm, and creative expression in a fun and supportive environment. Participants will develop confidence, coordination, teamwork, and performance skills while enjoying the excitement of Bollywood dance. No prior dance experience is required.
Jiu Jitsu
Classes are offered throughout the week for a variety of schedules and skill levels.
 
Zumba with Heather Hale
Fitness is Heather’s passion, and she loves motivating others to reach their goals. Her classes welcome all ages and fitness levels and are designed to leave participants feeling motivated and energized.
 
Zumba combines Latin and international music with easy-to-follow dance routines for a fun, full-body workout. Travel around the world in one hour without a passport while improving flexibility, strengthening your core, and getting your body moving. Ditch the workout and join the Zumba party! Drop-in fee: $6 per class.
 
Traditional Karate with Steve Carbonneau
Steve Carbonneau is a 5th-degree black belt with more than 16 years of martial arts experience and has taught traditional Karate at the E Center and Sugar Hill Community Center for more than five years. Classes are available for children ages 10 and up and adults and include training in Shito Ryu Karate, Koga-Ryu Kobudo, and Katsu-Ryu Kempo.
 
SilverSneakers with Nancy Lovingood
Have fun and move to the music with exercises designed to improve muscular strength, range of motion, and daily living activities. Hand-held weights, elastic tubing, and a SilverSneakers ball are used for resistance, with a chair available for seated or standing support. Must present your SilverSneakers member number at the first class to participate for FREE. Check with your health insurance provider to see if they participate in this program.
 
Sweat & Sculpt
A weekly fitness class designed to help you get moving and build strength.
 
Salsa/Bachata
Saturday evening dance class featuring Salsa and Bachata.
 
Argentine Tango with Miguel Diaz
Miguel Diaz is originally from Argentina and has been dancing the Tango for more than 20 years. He has trained with renowned Argentine Tango dancers and is passionate about growing the Tango community in Atlanta and North Georgia.
 
Start with the basics, including how to walk the Argentine Tango, proper posture and balance, and basic steps. As you progress, you’ll learn more intricate movements and combinations.
