Call to Order: The meeting was called to order at 5:36 PM.
Members in Attendance: Mayor Taylor Morain, Mayor Pro Tem Aysha Jerald, Kaan Cubukcu, Spencer Williams, Nida Merchant, Roshni Patel, Ethan Shaw, Kayla Roberts.

• Review Meeting Minutes and Council Reports were tabled for later on in the meeting.
• Mayor’s Day Review
o The Youth Council decided that they would like to meet with the State Representatives; Aysha Jerald will be contacting David Clark to confirm a date.
o Suwanee representatives approached the Youth Council during the Mayors Day conference in regards to a joint program with their Youth Leadership Program. They have a workshop day at the City Capitol in the summer.
• Council Reports
o Nida Merchant thoroughly enjoyed her time at Mayors’ Day, and she said that she learned a lot.
o Ethan Shaw, Spencer Williams, Kaan Cubukcu, and Taylor Morain attended the Georgia Mock Trial Competition.
o Aysha Jerald would like the Youth Council to attend the Player’s Guild performance of “12 Angry Jurors.”
o The Macon Bibb County Youth Council contacted Spencer Williams, and they would like us to participate in their Cherry Blossom Festival in March.
o Mr. Sullivan extended an invitation to the Sugar Hill Youth Council for the Kiwanis Club’s teen retreat on March 24-26. He visited Sycamore Elementary during their project based learning time. They would like high school students to attend these meetings to help them from 2:30-3:30 PM. Students from any organization are free to volunteer.
• Council Member Projects
o Each Youth Council member presented an idea for his or her project for the second semester. More detailed plans will be shared at the next meeting.
Adjournment: Kayla Roberts motioned to adjourn the meeting at 7:10 PM, and Spencer Williams seconded this motion.
