Members in attendance were Chair Kerry Murphy, Vice Chair Donna McKinney, Joyce Cutchins, Drew Dylan, Marc Cohen, Guests Chandra Brandel, Kristina Jaunais, and Tiffany Cole

APPROVAL OF AGENDA Motion by Marc Cohen with changes to the discussion section, Second by Donna McDaniel, All in Favor
APPROVAL OF MINUTES – Arts Commission Meeting January 15, 2019 – Motion by Donna McKinney, Second by Joyce Cutchins, All in Favor
NEW BUSINESS
a. Finalize Artist of the Month Calendar for all of 2019 – Shows discussed and finalized into 2020, with exception of end of year show.
a. Doodle Wall Show – Will Discuss at a Later Date
b. Have decided to keep the remainder of the calendar open for opportunites
b. Budget
a. Motion not to exceed $2000 for art receptions and associated advertising in 2019 by Marc Cohen, Second by Donna McKinney, All in Favor
b. Lanier High School Art Space/ Gallery approved for ECenter. Will devise a hanging system and order.
c. Will categorize and line item remaining budget items to be reviewed next meeting
c. Need Volunteers for Dustin Massey
a. Chandra Brandel, Donna McKinney, Kerry Murphy, and Drew Dylan all confirmed they would be there to assist
d. Nomination of Vice Chair
a. Kerry motioned to nominate Donna McKinney for Vice Chair, Second by Marc Cohen, All in Favor
DISCUSSION
a. Welcome Drew, newest commission member.
b. Discuss a plan for the new art gallery
a. Nicole to send floor plan and her ideas for space, everyone else to contribute by next meeting.
c. Consider getting treasurer – talk to Ane Mulligan about getting 501c3
a. Think about fundraising ideas for when Arts Commission becomes 501c3
d. Consider custom frame for Greg Mike piece
e. Save the date for Dustin Massey
a. Talk to new local restaurants about partnering for receptions
