MEMBERS IN ATTENDENCE: Arts Commission Chair Marc Cohen, Vice Chair Wendy Green, Arts Commissioner Joyce Cutchins, Arts Commissioner Victoria Gonzales, Economic Development Director Scott Andrews, Events and Marketing Coordinator Megan Carnell, Youth Council Member, Taylor Morain, Guest Kerry Murphy, Guest Chris Walker, Guest Dorothy Duckworth-Floyd & daughter Chloe, and Guest Jennifer Osiek

OLD BUSINESS
a. Membership- if members do not wish to continue as a member, please let Chairman know.
NEW BUSINESS
a. Kiwanis Art Show
a. show has 4 judges, will be on Saturday March 19 from 10am-2pm. Arts Commission will have a flyer about Sugar Rush Juried Show there, members are encouraged to come see the artwork that day
b. Murals
c. Scope of Commission
a. Vote on 2 main focuses
b. Create Master Plan based on that
c. Kerry will reach out to Living Walls organizer
d. Lost Prevention Group is another good group to reach out to
e. Chris- Art competition in parks until buildings are erected to keep public art in the community’s mind
f. Chalk art, live painting, monster mural (Sugar Rush), stencil for sidewalk
g. Victoria and Wendy will get chalk and handle 3/24 event
h. Jenny will talk to someone about a kiln/pottery for keepsake at next event and possibly create a template for sidewalk art
d. Thursday’s on the Hill
a. Commission will start with chalk art and see how it goes
e. Sugar Rush
a. Megan will send out information and get feedback from group for 2016 Sugar Rush Juried Art Show.
