Get ready for a day full of chili, community and family fun! The Chili Cook-Off Festival returns Saturday, November 14, from noon to 5 p.m. and serves as a fundraiser for Project Green, a local children’s nonprofit that helps provide opportunities such as summer camps, school excursions and educational programs for local kids.
The festival is free to attend and will feature a Chili Cook-Off with chili sampling, People’s Choice voting, local vendors, an artist market, a Family Fun Zone with activities for children of all ages and food trucks for those looking for something beyond chili.
Want to taste your way through the competition? Chili Tasting armbands are $15 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under and are available for purchase online in advance or at the event. The armband includes chili samples from all participating competitors, and yes, you can even go back for seconds!
