Jerry joined the City of Sugar Hill as Assistant City Manager in 2026, bringing more than two decades of experience in local government, planning, transportation, development, and public administration.

Prior to joining Sugar Hill, Jerry served with Gwinnett County as Director of Transportation Planning. In that role, he helped lead transportation planning and policy initiatives, major infrastructure planning projects, mobility and safety programs, and efforts to secure state and federal funding for transportation investments throughout Gwinnett County.

Jerry’s local government career has also included leadership and planning positions with Gwinnett County Planning and Development, Forsyth County, and the City of Dunwoody. His experience spans community development, zoning and land use, long-range planning, development review, transportation, infrastructure, and organizational management.

As Assistant City Manager, Jerry helps advance the Mayor and Council’s vision for Sugar Hill by working across City departments and with regional, state, and federal partners on initiatives that support a vibrant, connected, safe, and well-managed community.

Jerry earned a Bachelor of Science in Political Science with an emphasis in Public Administration from Clemson University. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) and is an Eagle Scout.
