CALL FOR MUNICIPAL ELECTION
& NOTICE OF QUALIFYING
Notice is hereby given that an Election will be held in the City of Sugar Hill, Georgia, on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, from 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m., at Sugar Hill City Hall, 5039 West Broad Street, Sugar Hill, Georgia. The election is to fill the office of City Council Post #4 currently held by Alvin Hicks, City Council Post #5 currently held by Taylor Anderson, and the Mayor currently held by Brandon Hembree. The Council Posts serve the citizens at large, but the candidate must declare which post they are running for upon qualification. Candidates must pay a Qualifying fee of $108.00 for City Council and $162.00 for Mayor at the time of qualification. Qualifying will be held Monday, August 18, 2025, until Wednesday, August 20, 2025, between the hours of 8:30 am until 4:30 p.m. each day at City Hall, 5039 West Broad, Sugar Hill, Georgia, in the office of the City Clerk. You must reside within the city limits of Sugar Hill to vote in this election, and all such electors are encouraged to participate. The last day to register to vote in this election is October 6, 2025. Registration forms are available at City Hall, the Gwinnett County Elections Office, and the website of the Georgia Secretary of State. Advance or Early Voting will be held October 14-18, 2025, from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm; October 20-25, 2025, from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm; and October 27-31, 2025, from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm. A run-off election, if necessary, would be held December 2, 2025. All voting will be held at City Hall, 5039 West Broad Street, Sugar Hill, GA.

Por la presente se da aviso que las Elecciones de la Ciudad de Sugar Hill, Georgia, seran el martes 7 de noviembre de 2025 de 7:00 a.m. a 7:00 p.m. en el Ayuntamiento de Sugar Hill, 5039 West Broad Street, Sugar Hill, GA. La eleccion es para ocupar la oficina del puesto #4 de el consejo municipal actualmente en manos de Alvin Hicks, el puesto #5 de el consejo municipal actualmente en manos de Taylor Anderson y Alcalde actualmente en manos de Brandon Hembree. Los puestos del consejo sirven a los ciudadanos en general, pero el candidato debe declarar a que puesto se postulan tras la calificacion. Los candidatos deben pagar una tarifa de calificacion de $108.00 para las posiciones en el consejo municipal y $162.00 para la posicion de Alcalde en el momento de la calificacion.
