In anticipation of the heavy rain and strong winds caused by Hurricane Helene, the City of Sugar Hill is taking precautionary measures to ensure the safety of our residents, visitors, and staff. The city will be closing the following facilities in advance of the storms until further notice.

- Gold Mine Park. Now open.
- Ridge Lake Park. Now open.For those who choose to use the Sugar Hill Greenway, please be cautious and aware of fallen trees, flood-prone areas, and hazardous conditions. Thank you in advance for your cooperation and we anticipate reopening as soon as the storms move out and the safety of the facilities can be confirmed. We urge everyone to seek shelter indoors while the storm passes through our sweet city.
