    The City of Sugar Hill invites you to celebrate In The City of Sugar Hill invites you to celebrate Independence Day at “Sparks in the Park,” a free fireworks display and live music show on Sunday, July 3  at E.E. Robinson Park North. 

Wear red, white, and blue. Pack a picnic basket, then head over to the park to hang out with family and friends. We're so excited to have Sibling Rivalry: Tristan and Tyler Reese Tritt perform live on stage at Sparks in the Park! See you in July.
    On May 27 from 5 - 9 p.m., join us for Splash Nigh On May 27 from 5 - 9 p.m., join us for Splash Night at Splash Park! Get your swimsuits ready and lather on some sunscreen for a night full of playing in the dancing spouts of water. Be sure to grab a bite to eat from the food truck, Flavor on a Fork Chicken and Waffles and a sweet treat from Kings of Pop. Live music will be performed by Backroad to Brooklyn and there will be interactive dance routines by the ALL STARS Performing Arts Academy.

Help North Gwinnett Co-Op as we partner with the organization to collect school supplies for the 2022 – 2023 school year. Please bring your donations with you to Splash Night. Each year, the North Gwinnett Co-Op gives away new book bags filled with age-appropriate school supplies to vetted families living in the Buford, Sugar Hill & Suwanee communities. In 2021, the Co-Op prepared 762 children for the school year and the organization is preparing to help as many children this summer at their annual Book Bag Bash on Saturday, July 23.
    Join the Scouts, DAR, American Legion, and more on Join the Scouts, DAR, American Legion, and more on Monday, May 30, from 10:30 a.m. - noon for our annual Memorial Day Ceremony at the Veterans Memorial, in honor of the military personnel who died while serving in the U.S. Armed Forces. The Broad St. Concert Band will perform at 10:30 a.m. You may also live stream this special observance on our Facebook page at 11 a.m. when the ceremony begins.

Following the ceremony from 1 – 4 p.m. at the Sugar Hill Distillery, shop the Memorial Day Market. Enjoy live music performed by The Waymores, play games for all ages, and shop local vendors who will be selling products like desserts, apparel, home & bath goods, and artwork. In addition to all vendor application fees, the City of Sugar Hill will donate all proceeds from our table to the Children of Fallen Patriots nonprofit organization.

City Hall will be closed on Monday, May 30 in honor of Memorial Day.
    The Sugar Hill Historic Preservation Society is ho The Sugar Hill Historic Preservation Society is hosting a Memorial Day cleanup at Sugar Hill’s Historic Cemetery on Saturday, May 21 from 9 a.m. – noon. Activities include a variety of projects in the cemetery like grave-marker cleaning, pea gravel installation, and installing markers on unmarked graves. 

Please arrive by 8:45 a.m. to sign in. Refreshments will be available while supplies lasts.

Splash Park officially opens for the season on Wednesday, May 11 and is open from 10 a.m. - 9 p.m., daily (weather permitting.) It’s located behind City Hall and borders a large outdoor plaza just above The Bowl with tables, umbrellas, and plenty of turf to spread out a picnic blanket.
    Join the City of Sugar Hill as we partner with the Join the City of Sugar Hill as we partner with the Sugar Hill Distillery to honor and celebrate the brave soldiers we've lost this Memorial Day. All vendor application proceeds will go to the Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation.
