Youth civic engagement is the future of our city, state, and nation. In this spirit, the Sugar Hill Youth Council is dedicated to learning the how’s and why’s of local government as well as participation in the process of democratic governance. Applications are now closed.

The Sugar Hill Youth Council is designed to provide real world understanding of city government for high school students. Members will be exposed to city operations and have the opportunity to learn about how local government functions. Youth Council members will have opportunities to get hands-on experience through organizing and executing government activities and city-sponsored events.
