E Center.  Red Clay Interactive (RCI), a local marketing firm, has completed their buildout and are waiting to schedule move-in.  Installation of a new epoxy floor coating for the common areas of the entire building is nearing the finish line with another coat, polishing, wall base and cleanup to complete the new look.  In addition, New South Construction will be completing leak repairs on the eastern upper pool fountain in the next few weeks.

Veterans Memorial Relocation.  Punch list and warranty repair work continue, but the project is substantially complete.

2019 Bowl Improvements.  Project is substantially complete and punch list work will wrap up this month.

Sugar Hill Greenway.  The Whitehead portion of the greenway has an additional 750 feet poured since our May update.  The contractor is still coordinating with the developer of the new residential project (Sophia Downs) under development regarding the curbing and ADA ramps required.  The plans for the balance of Phase 1 is currently advertised for bids and due next Thursday.  This will complete the connection from downtown south to the county parks along Peachtree Industrial and over to Whitehead Road.  This project is funded through a combination of city and county SPLOST funds by way of an intergovernmental agreement.

East Phase of Sophia Downs S/D (fka, Taylor Park)

An additional 750LF on Whitehead Road have been completed.

Sugar Hill Greenway – Phase 1B (PIB Portion)

Sugar Hill Greenway – Phase 1

 Gary Pirkle Park Field Expansion.  Plans for the addition of three (3) new fields at the park, converting the natural turf areas to synthetic turf has been designed, permitted and bid.  A recommendation for contract award will be presented to City Council at their July meeting. Construction is expected to begin in the fall.

Art/History Room Buildout at Broadstone. The construction documents are being reviewed and coordination with the Landlord (Alliance Residential) is ongoing.  HVAC, structural elements, signage and access are some of the discussion items with Alliance.

Highway 20 Pedestrian Bridge.  Our second attempt at federal funding through the BUILD grant program has been submitted.

Level Creek / Alton Tucker. Right-of-way acquisition is commencing and will parallel the final construction and bid documents phase.

Gold Mine Park.  Project is ready for the bid phase.
