Gas Utility
The City of Sugar Hill's Natural Gas Utility is proud of our history of providing clean, safe, economical and reliable natural gas to residents and businesses in our service area. Our highly-trained staff works around the clock to ensure the integrity and dependability of our distribution system, and to assist customers with energy conservation and cost savings through natural gas use.
Georgia law requires everyone-including homeowners performing excavation activity to call Georgia 811 at least 48 hours before digging or excavating. More Info.
Sugar Hill Gas Service
The City of Sugar Hill operates its own natural Gas system. Information about Sugar Hill gas may be obtained at Sugar Hill City Hall or by calling 770-945-6716.
Residential Service
To Establish new service, fill out the Residential Utility Deposit form. A utility deposit of $150.00 and a valid state or federally issued photo ID are required for service to be connected. If you are renting the residential property, provide a copy of the lease with the application. The application, lease and ID can be e-mailed to gas@cityofsugarhill.com or faxed to 770-945-0281. Please call to confirm receipt and to complete application process.
